Agreement reached: Stephan El Shaarawy rejoining Roma on loan from Shanghai Shenhua

RomaPress – A total agreement has been reached for the return of Stephan El Shaarawy to Roma.

The Giallorossi and Shanghai Shenhua, El Shaarawy’s parent club, reached an agreement within the hour for the passage of the Italian attacker to the Eternal City on a straight loan deal until June.

The two clubs reached an agreement after Roma reached an agreement today with RB Leipzig for the sale of Justin Kluivert to the German side and for the departure of Diego Perotti to Fenerbahce.

El Shaarawy will officially rejoin Roma in the coming hours — he has been in Rome throughout the past few weeks and will undergo his medical examinations shortly.

The Giallorossi will pay a fee to the Chinese side for the loan of the player but will only be responsible for a small portion of the attacker’s expensive wages.

El Shaarawy will undergo his medical examinations tomorrow with Roma and to mark his return to the club.
