The President of the Italian referee association, Carlo Pacifici, criticised Jose Mourinho’s outburst against Anthony Taylor after the Europa League final.
In a recent press conference appearance, Pacifici expressed his disappointment at the way Roma handled things with Taylor on a media level.
“I want to remind everyone of FIFA’s slogan: ‘Respect’. It is for everyone, it is not by raising our tone of voice that we improve things in football.”
“We must never forget that what happens in Serie A and in Europe is then reflected abroad and scrutinized.”
