Roma fullback Leonardo Spinazzola is being linked with a potential exit from the capital club in January.

The Italian international has failed to impress over the last several months, his performances marked by inconsistency and proneness to injuries, Spinazzola is now pondering his future options.

Roma have not shown any signs of wanting to extend his contract. The club seem set on waiting for the right offer to come along in January, enabling Spinazzola to leave for a small fee rather than as a free agent next summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Al Shabab – who had made a preliminary bid for him a few months ago – are now ready to make another offer for Spinazzola in January.

The fullback is one of Roma’s most expensive players on the roster and one that the club would be willing to replace in the upcoming transfer window.
