Former Lazio manager Edy Reja – currently in charge of the Albanian national team – spoke about Marash Kumbulla’s limited playing time at Roma and his need to develop as a footballer elsewhere.
“Kumbulla is a really nice kid,” Reja told reporters in a press conference earlier today. “But he’s struggling in terms of playing time at Roma.”
“As Albania’s coach I say this: I hope Kumbulla can accept a loan in January in order to find more space somewhere else. I told him this, he’s not very happy, but what can he say? He’s under contract at a big club, but I hope something happens because given his age he needs more playing time.”
