Albanian PM Edi Rama was recently interviewed by Tuttosport ahead of the long-awaited Conference League final that will take place in Tirana on May 25th.
“I’m very happy Roma are in the final,” Rama told the Italian newspaper. “Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always cheered for Italians and Italian teams in sports.”
“Roma have become special thanks to José Mourinho, who in the past even made me betray my Juventus faith when he first arrived in Italy.”
“[Italian Prime Minister Mario] Draghi will not be able to come to Tirana for the match and messaged me saying to support Roma in his name as well.”
On the best thing about Roma, Rama did not hold back, “The fans of the Olimpico. It’s amazing how people follow Mourinho.”
He concluded, “And I strongly believe that if all the players follow the coach as do those magnificent people in the stands, and if the Americans will do the same, then Mourinho can write the history of Roma. And repeat what Jurgen Klopp did for Liverpool.”
