Legendary Juventus footballer Alessandro Del Piero spoke about his former Italy teammate Daniele De Rossi and his progress as Roma’s head coach.
During the Laureus Sports Awards ceremony, Del Piero praised De Rossi.
“I’m not surprised by his attitude, his football knowledge, his way of presenting himself, his energy and everything that shines through these first few months of his tenure as a coach.”
“Even super expert coaches in super ‘cool’ clubs sometimes make the right choices at a certain moment and then something doesn’t work. I’m happy that it’s not the case with Daniele because he deserves this kind of success and he’s an extraordinary guy.”
