Alessandro Florenzi suffers meniscus injury

Roma loanee Alessandro Florenzi has suffered a major injury which will most likely sideline him for the rest of the season.

The Italian fullback – currently on loan at Milan – exited last night’s game vs Bologna with a knee injury.

MilanNews.it reports that further medical tests highlighted an injury to the internal meniscus which will require surgery.

Florenzi will undergo surgery with Dr. Mariani at Villa Stuart in Rome and is expected to be out until the end of this year’s campaign.
