Former Primavera captain Alessio Riccardi is looking to restart his career in Serie C after spending the past year in Trigoria without ever breaking into Mourinho’s first team or Alberto De Rossi’s youth team.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder was recently excluded from Roma’s preseason training camp and told to consider incoming offers. The players reportedly rejected a proposal from SPAL as he was unwilling to lower his salary earlier in the summer.
However, this time around Corriere dello Sport reports that Riccardi is quite worried by the prospect of another year of inactivity.
Therefore, the player has been approached by Latina who are looking to strengthen their attack ahead of the new Serie C campaign.
Given the circumstances, Riccardi seems to be keen on the move.
