Reputed as one of the club’s biggest prospects in the last decade, former Primavera captain Alessio Riccardi is negotiating an exit from the Italian capital following over a year of inactivity.
After going through a difficult loan spell at Pescara in 2020/21, Riccardi rejected all proposals coming his way.
This time around, however, Roma are pressuring the 21-year-old to leave the club permanently.
According to Il Tempo, Serie C club Latina have come forward with an offer which Riccardi is inclined to accept. However, before doing so, the Italian midfielder must lower his wage demands as he earns over €700,000.
Roma want to secure Riccardi’s exit in the next few days in order to focus on other outgoing transfers including Bouah, Coric and Bianda’s.
