Former Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli – who made his return to the capital with Lazio colours earlier in the summer – spoke about his first derby as a Biancocelesti after tonight’s victory over Jose Mourinho’s men.
“It is an enormous satisfaction,” he told Lazio Style Channel in a post-match appearance. “It was a painful victory, not beautiful but very much welcomed.”
“Attackers and midfielders played a great game, we [the defense] were also good at stopping everything that came our way.”
“100 intense minutes that never seemed to end. In Serie A all games are difficult and you have to face them as if each one of them was a final.”
