Manchester United left back Alex Telles is being heavily tipped to leave the club this summer after just one season.

The ex-Porto defender failed to consistently win a place Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting formation and was limited to only nine league appearances for the Red Devils.

Despite the rumors surrounding his future, the Brazilian claimed today that he still believes the club has faith in him.

“I’m really happy to be back here,” Telles told United Daily ahead of the team’s friendly on Sunday versus Derby County. “It’s a pleasure to be at Manchester United coming into my second season.”

“It’s going to be a tough test but we’re really well prepared for it. We’ve been working really hard in training today, and this last week, and I believe it’s an opportunity to show my value my quality and my potential here at Manchester United.”

“I know Manchester United and the fans really believe in me.”
