Alexis Saelemaekers is looking to make his return to the pitch after over months of absence due to an ankle injury suffered on Matchday 4 vs Genoa.
The Belgian attacker has been sidelined throughout all of Ivan Juric’s tenure and hopes to be back at Ranieri’s disposal soon.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Saelemaekers will likely be called up for the match against Atalanta in a week’s time.
He is, however, unlikely to play as his condition is still far from ideal.
Roma’s hope is to have him available to contribute against Lecce.
