Alisson: “I can’t wait to get started.”

Alisson Becker, new goalkeeper of Roma, was a guest on the talk show “The Noite” and spoke about his future in the capital:

“I am happy to go to Italy: I will arrive on 1 July. From what I’ve seen, the Italian league is very tactical and the goalkeeper is less exposed. I have not studied well the strikers that I will be facing, but I have watched several matches. I am very anxious to go, I can not wait. I still don’t know Italy well, but I’m already learning a bit of Italian. I already know some swear words such as ‘vaffan…’ (laughs). Among goalkeepers, Buffon is my idol, but I also really admire Dida and Neuer. In Rome and in Italy, the passion for football is huge, I will always give my best for the team and the fans, that way they don’t insult me when I see them in the streets!”
