Juventus boss Max Allegri rued his team’s missed goalscoring chances in their 1-1 draw this evening versus Bologna.

The Bianconeri required late Dusan Vlahović heroics in order to avoid a defeat to the Rossoblu, a result that makes the race for the fourth and final Champions League place even tighter.

Juventus sit six points ahead of Roma, who have a match in hand as they face Napoli on Monday evening. Allegri, however, insists it’s not just the Giallorossi his side need to worry about.

“The race for fourth? Anything can happen in football, we needed to win today but ended up drawing,” Allegri told DAZN.

“Fiorentina, Lazio, and Roma, in that order have more favorable calendars than we do, so we have to take things one step at a time. We’ve got to take nine points from our next three games before we face Lazio then Fiorentina.”

He added, “If we want to finish fourth, we need to take it one game at a time. Thankfully we managed to pull out a draw at the very end tonight. However, we have to make more of our goalscoring chances earlier in games.”
