Alvaro Morata is Roma’s new target for the attack.
The capital club have opened talks with Morata’s entourage after encountering difficulties in dealing with West Ham for Gianluca Scamacca.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the first contact with Morata was met with a positive response from the player who is ready to accept Roma’s proposal.
The player expressed his desire to return to Italy and Roma would be a welcome destination for him.
Roma will have to make an effort in matching his wages as Morata would not benefit from Italy’s growth decree.
However, first Roma want to assess the real value of the player’s release clause with Atletico Madrid.
