Amadou Diawara forces Roma stay despite offers from abroad

Out-of-favour midfielder Amadou Diawara continues to force his stay in the Italian capital after having been excluded from Mourinho’s plans. The Guinean player now trains individually at Trigoria as Roma search for a viable solution.

However, Il Tempo reports that Diawara hasn’t shown any signs in wanting to facilitate a transfer out of Roma.

The 24-year-old has rejected several offers from abroad and despite having been warned by Roma that he could end up spending the next year in the stands, Diawara is not interested in moving anywhere at this point in time.

The Italian newspaper claims that the ex-Napoli man does not want to reduce his salary and is willing to sit out the rest of his contract with the capital club until its expiry in 2024.
