Ex-Roma attacker Amantino Mancini expressed interest in coaching his former side in a recent interview with RomaToday.
“I would love to coach in Europe, maybe Roma: for me it would be a dream come true,” he said. “But, right now I hope that Mourinho’s team will be able to qualify for the Champions League because the fans deserve it.”
“In my opinion the Giallorossi can aim for the Champions League, but they must find the right continuity and consistency in their performances,” Mancini added.
“I like the team but there are many things to do that could help further improve it. They have really interesting young players and a great coach in Mourinho.”
