Former Roma midfielder and current Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti refused to shut the door on the rumors linking him to the vacant Brazilian national team post.

The ex-Milan, Juventus, and Chelsea boss confessed he’s flattered by the interest from the Seleção but insisted he’ll remain in Spain until he’s no longer wanted.

“The rumors about my future? They don’t surprise me but they don’t bother me, either,” he said during his pre-match press conference.

“The only thing I’m thinking about is to stay at this club for as long as I’m here. Everything else is quite clear: I will continue as long as Real Madrid allow.”

“We’re doing well and still fighting for titles. I have a contract and I want to continue. It’s simple. Nobody knows the future.”

He continued, “But of course I love it (the interest from Brazil) and I’m excited they want me. Though, contracts have to be respected and I want to honor them.”
