Andrea Belotti awaits Roma approach

Andrea Belotti is reportedly interested in joining Roma as a free agent after the player refused to renew his contract with Torino, reports Il Corriere della Sera.

The Italian striker had been linked with a move to Monaco, but the French side have yet to come forward with an official offer.

In the meantime, the newspaper reports that Belotti has been in touch with Roma manager Jose Mourinho.

The idea would be for the 28-year-old to come to the Italian capital and serve as Tammy Abraham’s back-up forward.

Belotti is now awaiting an approach on the Giallorossi’s part, as the capital club first have to secure some player exits before focusing once more on the incoming transfers.
