Despite scoring an impressive brace, Andrea Belotti was not happy with Roma’s result against Salernitana.

The Italian striker helped the team get a late equalizer to end the match 2-2 at the Stadio Olimpico.

At full-time, Belotti expressed his frustration with the final scoreline in an interview with Roma TV.

“Looking at the whole match and the highlights, we deserved to win and not just by a goal difference,” said Belotti.

“That’s how it went, it’s not nice to draw when you play at home because Roma always have to play to win. When you don’t win, you can’t be happy.”

“We can improve a lot. Paredes and Renato Sanches arrived recently. They are good players and will give us a big hand. It was a tough match, it’s never easy in this heat.”

“I hope that next time I score it will be to secure all three points, otherwise the glass will feel half empty.”
