Roma’s late summer signing Andrea Belotti is reportedly climbing the ranks in Mourinho’s rotations after gifting the Giallorossi a precious equalizer in last night’s second half to Betis-Roma in Seville.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Belotti is set to steadily gain more playing as the season progresses, especially if Tammy Abraham were to join England during the World Cup in Qatar.
The former Torino captain has convinced Mourinho to rely on him consistently due to his work rate and attitude on and off the pitch.
With Dybala’s absence, the Special One intends to increasingly rely on Belotti and Abraham’s partnership to unlock Roma’s goal-scoring struggles.
