Roma striker Andrea Belotti is steadily improving his physical condition and growing into a reliable presence in the attack for Giallorossi coach Jose Mourinho.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Belotti’s future is tied to technical and performance-related criteria such as goals, number of appearances and more which will in turn activate the automatic extension of his contract.
The player’s initial decision to sign with Roma on a one-year deal served to facilitate a last minute negotiation late in the summer window.
Belotti’s future will thus largely depend on Mourinho’s utilisation of him for the remainder of the season. The signs, however, are positive as Belotti seems to have convinced Mourinho through his dedication and work-rate on an off the pitch.
