Roma forward Andrea Belotti did not mince words when analyzing the team’s defeat to Slavia Praha tonight.

The Italian striker spoke to Sky Sport after the game.

“I think we lacked a bit of attitude, many times we certainly could have done better when we had the ball, but also when we didn’t have it. We missed out in many ways, I think it showed and unfortunately we lost first place.”

“In the first half we created little. Even the second balls were always taken by them, they arrived first on all the tackles. We know that at this level when these things are missing you struggle a lot.”

“The derby? We have to be focused. We must take the field to win every match and play with the right attention to detail and concentration. Each match is a story in itself. Unfortunately this happened like this but we have to forget it and think about Sunday’s derby, which we know is how important a match it is.”
