Roma striker Andrea Belotti was unlucky not to have his included in last night’s score sheet as the ex-Torino man provided precious offensive output after coming on for an injured Tammy Abraham early on in the first half.
The Italian attacker discussed his rapport with Mourinho and his steadily improving physical condition in his post-match interview with Sky Sport.
“Mourinho? He is a born winner and he proves it every day. I was impressed by his desire to win more and more day after day and he always transmits it to us as we’re about to step on the pitch.”
“When you become obsessed with scoring you tend to make mistakes. For me scoring is everything and I suffer when I don’t score goals. But what is more important is putting in work for the rest of the team.”
“I always try to do the best I can, and I can only say to the fans that they should continue to support us because we can only do better from here.”
