RomaPress – With only a few days remaining in the transfer window, Roma will officially welcome Italian international Andrea Belotti to the club.
The free agent striker landed in Rome late this evening ahead of his move to the club after waiting multiple weeks for the Giallorossi to offload an attacker.
He was given the all-clear to fly to the capital after Felix Afena-Gyan touched down in Cremona late yesterday afternoon and underwent his medical exams today ahead of his permanent switch to Cremonese.
As a result, Belotti will begin carrying out his medical examinations tomorrow morning at Villa Stuart before putting pen to paper on his three-year contract with the Giallorossi.
Belotti himself seemingly confirmed the news after he took to his official Instagram page to pen a farewell to former club Torino, where he spent seven years.
“Now, I leave as a man, as a father of a family, aware that I have given my all over the years. It will never be goodbye, because Torino will always remain home for me,” wrote the 28-year-old.
Belotti joins Roma on a free transfer and will earn €3 million (net) per season with the club.
