Roma striker Andrea Belotti was pleased with the Giallorossi’s display this evening in their 1-1 draw against Real Betis.

The Italian international registered a sublime performance against the Spanish, scoring a crucial second-half strike after his first half headed goal was ruled offsides.

“I felt very good tonight and feel as if I’ve found my conditions,” he told Sky Sport. “I knew it’d take work and time but now I feel really good.”

“This performance should give us a confidence boost, especially given the way we played in the second half. We were calm and in total control.”

“However, this must only serve as a starting point. We need to win our next matches in this competition.”

Finally, Belotti asked what it was like playing in a two-striker formation alongside Tammy Abraham.

“We did better in the second half, there was still a lot to be desired from the opening half which wasn’t great for us.”

“But we came onto the pitch with a different attitude in the second half and we created a lot of goalscoring opportunities. We need to keep working.”
