Andrea Belotti is on his way to returning to Jose Mourinho’s disposal for Thursday night’s return leg with Real Sociedad in San Sebastian.
The ex-Torino striker fractured his hand in the first leg at the Olimpico and underwent surgery in the weekend.
According to Il Tempo, Belotti will meet with the surgeon that operated on him later today in order to assess his condition for the team’s upcoming trip to Spain.
There is growing optimism that Belotti could return to Roma’s line-up on Thursday night after sitting out the weekend fixture with Sassuolo.
