Andrea Belotti ready to make first start for Roma

As Roma look to bounce back from last night’s emphatic defeat to Udinese, Andrea Belotti is getting ready to replace Tammy Abraham in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven.

The Englishman suffered a left shoulder contusion which ultimately forced him to exit the pitch in the second half after a below average performance.

The injury is not serious but Roma may choose to rest him in the upcoming Europa League affair with Ludogorets.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Andrea Belotti is ready to slot into the starting line-up on Thursday. The Italian striker made a second half appearance in last night’s debacle at the Dacia Arena and, despite the result not going Roma’s way, looked lively on the pitch.
