Andrea Belotti could earn another Europa League start in the upcoming return leg with RB Salzburg at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday.
The Italian striker was recently involved in the Giallorossi’s win over Hellas Verona, coming on for Tammy Abraham early in the first half.
Now, Corriere dello Sport reports that Abraham’s status is still doubtful as the Englishman still needs to test wearing a protective face mask ahead of Thursday night.
In case Abraham were to be sent to the bench to begin with, Belotti would readily slot into Mourinho’s starting eleven.
