Andrea Belotti to make Roma starting debut with Ludogorets

Roma’s emphatic defeat with Udinese resulted – among other things – in Tammy Abraham going down with a shoulder contusion which could sideline him for the next game or two.

The Englishman’s status is being monitored on a daily basis and a decision will be made on Wednesday prior to Thursday’s Europa League fixture with Ludogorets.

In the meantime, Jose Mourinho is ready to rely on the club’s latest attacking signing – Andrea Belotti. The former Torino captain made two appearances off the bench so far, with Monza and Udinese.

At Udine, the 28-year-old striker played the entire second half. Despite not getting too many looks, the Special One insisted on putting precious minutes into Belotti’s legs.

The Italian international will most likely start with Ludogorets in his first European club competition, reports Il Messaggero.
