Andrea Belotti willing to lower salary demands to join Roma

Andrea Belotti is patiently awaiting Roma’s green light after having already found an agreement at the start of the month of August. The player has rejected several offers from abroad and is solely focused on becoming a new member of the Giallorossi.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s difficulties in offloading the likes of Eldor Shomurodov and Felix Afena-Gyan have prompted the 28-year-old striker to communicate to the club that he would be willing to lower his salary demands in order to facilitate a successful completion of the deal.

Roma are convinced they will ultimately be able to secure the exits of the aforementioned players, thus freeing up space for the former Torino captain.

The Italian newspaper further reports that the favorite to leave the capital is Felix Afena-Gyan who is Cremonese’s priority for the attack. The Ghanaian forward could join the Grigiorossi on a permanent deal.
