Andrea Belotti willing to wait for Roma a few more days

Andy Mattioli

Andrea Belotti is Roma’s number one priority for the attack as the free agent has had an agreement in place with the capital club for a few weeks now. However, the Italian striker is still waiting for Roma to green light his transfer.

According to Il Messaggero, the Giallorossi have encountered major difficulties in offloading Eldor Shomurodov, without whose sale Roma cannot welcome Belotti.

The Italian newspaper reports that the former Torino captain has communicated to the club that he is willing to wait a few more days, perhaps until August 15th, after which the player will start looking for other options including abroad.

At the moment, Belotti has not taken into consideration any other team besides Roma. The player wants to remain in Italy, but his entourage are in contact with OGC Nice who are pushing to sign him and win the race over Roma.
