Roma are closing in on free agent Andrea Belotti as the capital club are about to offload Felix Afena-Gyan who is set to join Cremonese on a permanent deal. The Ghanian attacker will join Cremonese for around €9 million plus a 10% sell-on clause. The deal should be completed within the next 24 hours.
According to Sky Sport, Andrea Belotti’s agent arrived at Trigoria earlier this afternoon and is now discussing the final details of his client’s contract with the Giallorossi.
Roma are expected to sign Belotti on a three-year deal. The Italian international will take Felix’s place in Jose Mourinho’s squad and serve as an alternative to Tammy Abraham.
Belotti could reportedly touch down in the Italian capital before the weekend.
