Andrea Pinamonti is the latest name to be linked with Roma ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Italian striker was recently the protagonist of an impressive campaign on an individual level, finishing the season with 11 goals to his name.
However, Sassuolo’s relegation to Serie B prompted Pinamonti’s agent to look elsewhere as the 25-year-old is eager to get back to Italy’s top flight.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have put Pinamonti in their sights.
The capital club are on the look-out for new reinforcements and with the exit of the likes of Romelu Lukaku and potentially Tammy Abraham, De Rossi’s team will be needing additional strikers.
The news portal claims Roma are the latest team to inquire about Pinamonti.
The player is very popular in Serie A as he is said to have drawn interest from Fiorentina and Cagliari.
Negotiations with Sassuolo would not be a major obstacle due to their need to sell after being relegated.
