Roma’s latest signing, Angelino, gave his first interview to the club following his official announcement earlier today.
The Spanish fullback – who joins Roma on loan from Leipzig – discussed his move to the Italian capital.
“I am very happy with this opportunity and the first sensations are very positive. I can’t wait to meet my teammates and be with them,” Angelino told Roma TV.
“Making this decision was easy. It was enough for me to listen to the club’s proposal to have no doubts. Roma have great fans, the history of the club is enormous and everyone knows it. This is why I chose to move here.”
“Serie A? I think it’s a very competitive league, especially tactically, the teams defend very well. I want to get started, I think I can adapt very well in this championship and I hope I can do my part in this club.”
“I know what the Olimpico is all about. I have been following Roma for many years, it is a club I have always wanted to play for. Today I have the opportunity to be here, I am happy and eager to meet the fans and live this experience on the pitch.”
