Roma are going to make Angeliño’s transfer permanent.

The Spanish fullback is said to have impressed everyone at the club, including Daniele De Rossi who has asked Roma to activate the buy option in Angeliño’s loan deal from Leipzig, reports Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.

The player wants to stay in the Italian capital despite having drawn interest from other clubs abroad.

Roma will soon decide to activate the buy option worth €5 million (which can be paid across three years).

The club are only waiting for the new sporting director to be appointed before triggering the option for Angeliño’s long-term stay.
