Ante Coric is one of the main names Roma are looking to move away from the capital after the player completed a series of unsuccessful loan spells abroad, failing to convince the club he signed for in 2018.
The Croatian midfielder concluded his time in Switzerland with Zurich earlier in the summer. However, Corriere della Sera reports that the reigning Swiss champions recently contacted Coric’s entourage to inquire about a permanent move.
The 25-year-old declined this option as he does not intend to lower his wages. The former Dinamo Zagreb talent earns around €2 million.
As the transfer window winds to an end, Coric continues to train individually at Trigoria, away from Jose Mourinho’s men, and awaits more convincing offers from abroad.
