Former Giallorossi attacker Antonio Cassano did not wait to long to pile on more criticism on Jose Mourinho’s side following their devastating loss in Udine last night. The retired footballer spoke about the club’s defeat at the hands of Udinese on his Instagram profile.
“Roma don’t like to play to real football,” Cassano said. “Yesterday they got a wake up call, four goals in Udine. And mind you, this wasn’t Real Madrid or Barcelona they were playing against. It was Udinese.”
“They took a proper beating. They couldn’t make three passes. They looked confused and clearly didn’t know what to do.”
“Udinese were stronger than Roma, had more ideas, more enthusiasm, more desire and scored four goals. The reality is that this Roma doesn’t excite me at all.”
