Former Roma, Milan, Inter, and Sampdoria attacker Antonio Cassano continued his summer-long onslaught of criticisms towards Giallorossi attacker Paulo Dybala.
The former Italian international has been critical of the former Juve man following his departure from the Bianconeri and joining Roma on a free transfer.
“At 29 years-old, Juventus won’t send you away if you’re strong,” said Cassano during the latest episode of Bobo TV.
“The 4-5 strongest teams in Italy didn’t even consider acquiring him as a bench player. Inter kept him on hold for weeks before they decided to reacquire Lukaku and told Dybala ‘go home.'”
He continued, “With all due respect, he originally wanted wages of €10 million per season but joined Roma for €5 million. Ever since his time at Palermo I’ve said he isn’t a phenom.”
“If he was, how come no top team wanted him, not even Arsenal or Manchester United? Inter never even wanted him, they were playacting so that they could get Lukaku instead.”
Finally, “The Nerazzurri gave away Alexis Sanchez, who was stronger than him. Milan, meanwhile, preferred to wait two months for De Ketelaere.
“Ultimately Dybala went to a team that finished sixth and isn’t earning the astronomical figure he initially requested.”
