Former Roma attacker Antonio Cassano shared his thoughts on Instagram on Juventus-Roma, a match the retired professional considered a battle between two teams lacking initiative and ideas.

“Juventus played a good first half, but they had few ideas,” said Cassano. “Roma, on the other hand, played a terrible game and were incredibly lucky to score the equalizer in the second half.”

“It was a match between two teams that don’t like to play football and lack ideas and just keep going the way they do. I just don’t know where both these teams can go with that kind of philosophy.”

“Roma were all sitting back, defending for their life. Juventus scored a goal and stopped playing which shows the manager’s impact on that team.”

“When I watch teams like Liverpool and City I see that they always want to score and play real football.”
