Italian manager Antonio Conte was asked about his future, his ambitions and rumors of an imminent return to Serie A.
In an interview with Belve, Conte openly admitted to his eagerness to coach Roma – a team he’d been linked with in the past.
“I have done a lot in my career, but I’m certainly not full. I would like to find a situation where I can continue to write history, perhaps even at a European level. We will see what opportunities come up.”
“Marriages always come in twos so it may be that a coach has a wish and keeps it for himself his entire career. But there are two places that I like, Roma and Napoli,” he added.
“I would like to experience the passion that those places convey to you. I hope that one day there will be the possibility of having this experience. Those are places that fit me very well.”
“What are the right conditions? There has to be seriousness in attitude and ambition and a project that gives me the chance to compete to win.”
