Antonio Conte is said to be among the potential names to replace Jose Mourinho as Roma manager next year.

Seeing as the Special One’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024 and there have been no signs of either party wanting to extend his stay, Roma are already evaluating different profiles to replace him.

According to Il Messaggero, Antonio Conte would be Mourinho’s ideal successor.

Roma owner Dan Friedkin wants to guarantee another ‘big name’ on Roma’s managerial bench and Conte is reportedly keen on considering the Italian capital as his next destination after talks with Napoli collapsed earlier this month.

In fact, Conte would only consider joining a club in the summer – not before – and wants to be an integral part of a club’s long-term project.
