Tottenham manager Antonio Conte spoke ahead of the upcoming friendly with Roma in Haifa, Israel, addressing his current rapport with José Mourinho.
“We’re happy that we can face a great team like Roma,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Mourinho and I have mutual respect for each other,” said the former Juve boss. “The history of this sport has shown our true colours.”
“We have the highest esteem for each other. Tomorrow we will greet each other regularly.”
“Tottenham and Roma have the same goal: to counter the superpowers that command in England and Italy.”
“We are both working well and so it can be a good comparison.”
