Roma shot stopper Antonio Mirante urged his team to put aside the euphoria from Thursday’s Europa League success over Ajax.

Starting in place of Pau Lopez, the veteran goalkeeper expects a difficult match this evening against the relegation-threatened Granata.

“We’ve got to set aside the excitement from last week,” Mirante said to Roma TV.

“We’re facing a team that’s fresh and has gotten back on track recently, we expect a tough match. We’ve got to be able to separate what we’ve done in Europe versus our league campaign.”

“It’s important that we keep winning in the league find continuity in our results. Like us, Torino need points so today will be tough. However, we must focus on ourselves while remembering that it’s critical for us to get as many points as possible that are left on the table.”
