As Alisson appears to be nearing a move to Real Madrid, Il Corriere della Sera have revealed that the Giallorossi have their eyes on a few names to be the heir of the Brazilian.
Donnarumma and Courtois are profiles that can be excluded as they are too expensive. Monchi is focusing on Alphonse Areola, the 25 year old PSG shot-stopper. The negotiations could be facilitated easier due to the fact that Roma have already done business this summer with the player’s agent, Mino Raiola. The French goalkeeper costs around €20 million and has a salary (€2 million net) that is within reach. Two other profiles being followed are Meret and Rui Patricio, both of whom have an assessment of around €20 million, though, the situation of the Portuguese with Sporting means he could potentially arrive for free. Skorupski’s future is also yet to be finalised: he asked for a transfer, but Alisson’s departure could make him change his mind as he has offers from Sampdoria and Bologna.
