Arrigo Sacchi discuss Mourinho’s importance in Roma’s trophy aspirations

Former Milan and Italy coach Arrigo Sacchi was once again asked to preview the title race as well as discuss the main underdogs involved in this year’s edition of Serie A.

“I think Roma could be the real surprise this year,” Sacchi told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Not only because of Dybala’s arrival, but also because of the wonderful job Mourinho has done so far.”

“Mourinho is an incredible motivator and communicator, he knows how to handle the emotions of the environment he operates in.”

“That’s always been Roma’s main problem: they’re prone to experiencing many highs and many lows.”

“Mourinho has been able to get into his players’ heads, and I think that could make even more of a difference this time around.”
