Talks are on-going between Roma and Girona to find an agreement for Artem Dovbyk’s signing.

The Ukrainian striker is Roma’s number one priority following their secured deals for Samuel Dahl and Matias Soule earlier in the week.

Dovbyk’s entourage shifted their attention to the Giallorossi after failing to get a deal done with Atletico Madrid.

As a result, Roma made significant progress in their talks with Dovbyk.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the player has declared that is eager on joining the Italian club after holding talks with Roma’s management and coach Daniele De Rossi.

Now Roma are accelerating in their negotiations with Girona, working on the suitable fee package that will enable them to complete the agreement and allow Dovbyk to travel to Italy as soon as possible.
