Aston Villa eye summer move for Tammy Abraham

Andy Mattioli

Tammy Abraham’s poor first half of the season with Jose Mourinho’s Roma has put the Englishman at the center of transfer rumours linking him with a potential return to the Premier League.

The young attacker, after an impressive first season in the Italian capital, has only three Serie A goals to his name so far. According to calciomercato.com, Abraham is no longer untouchable and Roma could consider selling him in the summer.

The same outlet reports that Aston Villa are interested in the 25-year-old and could use Chelsea’s hesitance to trigger their buyback clause worth €80 million to their advantage once the current season comes to an end.
