Aston Villa are manifesting their interest in Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
Abraham – out of action since June after suffering a long-term knee injury versus Spezia on Roma’s last matchday of the season – is once again being linked with a return to the Premier League.
English news portal Football Insider claims Villa have carried over their previous inquiries and are now pushing to reopen talks with Roma in order to obtain more information for a potential transfer involving the 26-year-old.
The Giallorossi striker is unlikely to recover from the injury before next spring but the Birmingham club would like to make an attempt as early as January. Finally, it is important to remember that the number 9 of Mourinho’s team has already played for Villa in the past and that he is respected by current Villa coach Unai Emery.
