RomaPress – Roma’s transfer market continues to press on despite the change of ownership, which will officially be completed by Dan Friedkin on Monday.

Whispers emerged today that the Giallorossi are engaged in negotiations with Arsenal for a swap deal involving midfield pair Amadou Diawara and Lucas Torreira.

However, confirmation arrived from the entourage of the ex-Bologna player that there is nothing concrete regarding these talks, at the moment. Roma CEO Guido Fienga has been managing the Giallorossi’s day-to-day affairs but he has not met recently with Diawara’s representatives.

Once Dan Friedkin officially takes over on the 17th and appoints a sporting director, it certainly is possible that the Guinean could be sold — but at the moment, there are no negotiations involving him.
